Although it's hard to believe now, but at one point this year it was warm and sunny! Ironically it was then that I joined Original Montgomery team and the fab Amy Shore for a winter lookbook shoot.
A couple of months previously Amy had asked me to join the team to art direct the shoot for the duffle coat company. This was my first experience of art directing and I could have not loved it more. I had two main points of reference from Montgomery- An English seaside shoot, in North Norfolk with a lighthouse. I quickly found out there are only two lighthouses in North Norfolk... But by August I had organised the location, accomodation, a team of models, stylists, hair and make-up and we all trotted off to Cromer for two days.
Although torrential rain was forecasted, somehow we missed that entirely and were blessed with the most fantastic wintery, slightly overcast weather for shooting- In August...
I had a fab couple of days, and throughly enjoyed my first art directing experience, which could have not been done without a fastastic team by my side...
